Collector

ENCA Collector helps you to edit and browse euro coins in your own collection. Add a new item simply by clicking on the coin. It will appear in your collection immediately.

What does Collector do?

Collector shows all the existing coins in the euro zone. This helps collectors to keep track on what items they still need to get to fulfill their collection. The top row displays the value side of the coin. Head sides of the coins are listed below in a chronological order.

When clicking on a coin an informational box will open. Conditional grade describes the state of the coin. Fine means that the item is clear and bright. Fair, that the state of the coin is poor. UNC is an anagram for uncirculated. In other words UNC coin is untouchable and "in mint condition". Silver members may specify more condition grades for each piece.!

Change the purchase price if it differs with the nominal price. This way you will later on, when selling the item, remember the investment that you made in the coin. The comment area is for additional notes and your eyes only.

How to start using the Collector?

  1. Start with "Edit Collection"
  2. Select a desired euro country collection by clicking the flag
  3. Browse the country collection:
    • The bright color in the coins indicates that you already have them in your coin collection
    • The light ones are still missing from your collection
    • The yellow star in the left upper corner stands for a low mintage (below 1 000 000 pcs)
  4. Add a coin by clicking the equivalent coin picture
  5. Coin will be immediately included in your collection
  6. Fill in additional information if you like to

How to manage coins with the Collector?

Add a different coin by repeating the instructions above.
(Edit Collection > select a flag > click on the desired coin)

Duplicate a coin with the same steps. This time your coin will be bright.
(Edit Collection > select a flag > click on the desired coin > Add another coin)

Change the coin information, as for instants the purchase date, with the Edit tool.
(Edit Collection > select a flag > click on the desired coin > Edit)

Delete a coin from your set with the Remove tool
(Edit Collection > select a flag > click on the desired coin > Edit)

Browse Collection to view your set. With mouse-over you'll see the amount of a specific coins in your collection so as the number of coins in the circulation in total.

If you like to compare your set with other users or show your collection to your ENCA friends, edit your collection privacy settings through My ENCA > privacy.

Coin Info

The Coin info section is a helpful and educational tool, which reveals interesting facts behind the numismatics. The Coin info section contains information such as stories behind the coin designs, statistics and other useful details, like mass, proportions and issuing date. Silver members may also access the detailed rarity information of a specific item. Get the Silver membership by upgrading.

How to browse the Coin info?

  1. Select a EU country with clicking on the relevant flag
  2. Choose a coin you're interested in
  3. Explore the detailed information

Swapper

Swapper connects you with other collectors - it's an easy way to swap coins without getting lost in translation. The process is simplified so much, that there is no need to understand any other language than your own to make a swap. The only stage when you're asked to use English is at the very end of a swap creating process.

After accepting, swapped coins will be automatically added to your collection. ENCAbeta developing is based on user comments. We are constantly improving ENCA service to suit your best interest - don't forget to send feedback!

Create a swap

  1. Choose a country of the coin you want to swap
  2. Indicate the target item by clicking on the coin picture
    • You'll see the basic coin information below the coin palette.
    • If you select a coin from your ENCA collection, it will dissappear after the deal
    • If you choose to swap other coins, the action will not cause any changes in your ENCA collection.
    • Include a coin in you Swap Cart with the Add action
  3. Select the target item or items you wish to acquire
  4. Set the details
    • Add a minimum score
    • Describe the item briefly in English
  5. Submit your swap by confirming the information

Now all you have to do is wait. "My Swaps & offers" sections list all the open deals you have at the moment - you can easily view or remove them if you wish. Don't forget to send feedback!

Accept an offer

  1. Browse or search for the offer you like to accept
  2. Scroll down and click on the "Create offer" action
  3. Select the items you want to swap
  4. Confirm the offer

My ENCA

My ENCA is your personal page with many useful settings to adjust.

All your messages are stored in My ENCA inbox. You can contact other users via Compose. Simply fill in the receiver's username, subject and the message.

Other users can be gathered as friends in your friend list. If you don't want to share your collection with whole ENCA, but only with people you know, friend list is a greate solution. Don't hesitate to invite your buddies outside the ENCA to join!

Profile includes basic facts about the user, such as contact information, hobbies and language skills. Most of the fields are optional. Only the contact information is required since you will need it when using Swapper. Change your personal page by clicking Edit (My ENCA > Edit your profile).

Modify the appearance of your profile, friend list and coin sets in the privacy section. We suggest sharing your profile and collection with friends. If you want to free access also for other ENCA users, select "Show your profile/collection to everyone".

Change interface language in settings. ENCA will be translated from english to all euro zone languages. After your language translation appears, please let us know of any possible errors or misspellings. We will also love to hear you opinion on the translation in general! You can send feedback here.

Define if you rather have private messages and friend request by mail in the notifications. We recommend you to keep the notification on, at least in the beginning!

Silver Membership

ENCA is definitely worth upgrading, if you would like to:

  • specify more condition grades for coin in your collection
  • access the detailed rarity information of a specific item

For now, upgrading is available only in Finland via sms-messages. We're working on making upgrading possible to everyone!
