My ENCA

Welcome to My ENCA!

In this section you can send messages, edit your profile and modify your privacy settings as well as create Friend list by searching ENCA users or inviting your friends outside ENCA to join.

Messages

You will be informed of new messages in the left upper corner, right below ENCA logo. You can also choose to get notifications in your e-mail (My ENCA > Notifications). All your received messages are stored in My ENCA Inbox and sent messages in My ENCA Outbox.

Contact other users with these simple steps:

  1. Click Compose
  2. Fill in receiver's user name
  3. Add a subject and write a message
  4. Press send

If you're not sure about the user name, try ENCA user search. (MyENCA > Friends > Search)


Profile

Profile is your page which can be modified (My ENCA > Profile > Edit your profile). Enhance appearance with a profile picture and some interesting facts about yourself such as language skills and hobbies. Filling in details is optional - ENCA will only need your contact information to work properly. Change your password in this section.

Profile page will be shown to other ENCA users when they click on your user name. Adjust the privacy level, such as profile and collection visibility, with Privacy settings (My ENCA > Profile > Privacy). For instants, you can set your collection to be viewable only to people on your friend list.

Interface language can be changed with Settings (My ENCA > Profile > Settings). With Notifications you can specify whether you like to be notified about new private messages and friend invites by e-mail (My ENCA > Profile > Notifications).


Friends

Friend list combines ENCA users more closely together. Add a user either by searching his or her profile or by sending invitation to people outside the ENCA with Invite friend function.

User Search

  1. Click MyENCA > Friends > Search
  2. Fill in search terms (user name, city or country)
  3. Select the right user
  4. Below user profile, click on Add as friend
  5. Wait for the response

Invitation

  1. Start either with Invite in the menu bar (or MyENCA > Friends > Friend list > Invite friends)
  2. Type in recipient contact information)
  3. Add a personal message
  4. Wait for the response

Pendings requests

Pendings requests section will list all the incomplete friend requests - the ones you made yourself and the ones that other people made for you.
